The importance of the product showcase to PR has been discussed on the blog before – but what we didn’t talk about, is all of the preparation and collaboration that goes into planning one of these extraordinary events.
Here is a quick peek behind the curtain, at some of the work that goes on to bring these events together:
Inter-agency planning – collaboration is one of the key ingredients to a successful product showcase. GCI Group has been lucky to partner with some extremely talented agencies, including IMPACT XM and The Mint Agency to help pull off these large-scale events.
Media relations – arguably the most important piece of the showcase. Without media, these events wouldn’t happen. A carefully crafted strategy to entice guests in, coupled with sound media relationships helps fill up the schedule and keep the room busy throughout the day.
Product, of course! – Once the media audience is in place, it’s up to proper positioning and innovative new product to generate maximum coverage for your brand. Some of the hottest new gadgets will be on many a wish-list this year, including the LG G4, the new LG Styler and the LG Music Flow system.
