Summer Sounds in the Sky

Blog | August 13, 2015

Here at 46 Spadina, we’re lucky to have nice window views of our city, but when summer time comes, we race up to our building’s rooftop, give a friendly wave to the CN Tower and start counting down the days until our annual media, partners and friends BBQ.

This year’s was as great as the ones before it – the rooftop filled with new and friendly faces, indulging in good food and conversation.

As Toronto has become home to quite a list of summer music festivals, we wanted to bring the festival vibe to us and treat our friends to an evening of Summer Sounds in the Sky.

UKAE, a local folk rock band serenaded us with sweet summer time covers and blissful original songs.

As for the food, our friends at Vert served up delicious eats in true festival food truck style – from tasty tacos to homemade funnel cakes to refreshing sno cones.

“As another whirlwind summer nears an end, we always enjoy bringing media, partners and staff together to celebrate our collaborations,” said Marion Mackenzie, President, GCI Group. “It was a pleasure to reunite, paired with good food, music and our city skyline.”
