TORONTO, Ontario – GCI Canada is proud to announce the appointment of Joe Peters as President of the agency. Joe replaces Marion MacKenzie, who is leaving GCI for new adventures after twelve years leading the agency through strong growth and a changing world of communications.
“Marion brought incredible entrepreneurial energy to GCI in her time as President,” said Peters. “She led GCI for over a decade with outstanding results as the norm. I know I have big shoes to fill.”
Never Miss a Story
Joe has been part of the H+K family since 2012, when his company Ascentum—a firm he helped build from the ground up—was acquired by Hill+Knowlton. At Hill+Knowlton, Joe was known for two invaluable qualities: smart strategy and execution excellence. As Chief Strategy Officer, Joe was the powerhouse agency’s go-to for innovation and trend-defining creativity. He launched new practices, services and tools.
“I couldn’t be more excited to build on the strong history and innovative energy here at GCI,” says Peters. “GCI is the whole package—a great team with great clients, a great record of top-notch work, giving us a great foundation to build upon.”
“This agency is well-equipped for all the challenges facing our clients in an integrated world of communications. I can’t wait to offer new services and insights to those we serve. We’re going to build something special together.”
