GCI Canada’s GM, Kristy Derkson

In 2018 Kristy Derkson joined GCI Canada to lead the agency’s Toronto office. Kristy brings more than 20 years of leadership in public relations to the role, from a wide breadth of client work in healthcare communications, marketing communications, and corporate communications. Kristy has been part of the WPP family of companies for more than 15 years, where she has seen and done it all—from launching innovative products and programs, to leading integrated campaigns, to lending her expertise as organizations build their brands and reputations.

Kristy is a master at solving problems; it is what gets her up in the morning. Her passion for new ideas and approaches, coupled with her demonstrated success in leading integrated teams, means her campaigns are always on the cutting-edge.
